Learn Valuable skills for High School? Earn your own Chromebook? Wolf Creek Chrome Academy has an opportunity for you!

Who is eligible?

We are currently looking for Grade 9 students that wish to start their High School journey early and earn their own Chromebook to use in High School and beyond.

Where is this happening?
Students will be able to complete their work at home but could come for in-person help at Wolf Creek Summer School @ Lacombe Composite High School if needed.

     Students will complete work and earn credits in: (1 credit each)

• COM 1255 - eLearning and Learning Management
• INF 1070 - Digital Presentations
• INF 1030 - Word Processing 1
• COM 1910 - Online Sources and Security
• INF 1060 - Spreadsheets 1
• INF 1910 - Browsing and Searching Safely

Students MUST complete all modules (>60%) to earn their Chromebook. If so earned, this Chromebook would be theirs forever. If students only complete some modules, they will still earn those credits, just NOT the Chromebook.

***There are no fees to participate in Chrome Academy***
We will be accepting registrations until Friday June 20, 2025 but space is limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis so register early to secure your spot. (we are anticipating having to waitlist some students)
