Student Association December Update

In December, a variety of exciting activities took place. On Friday, December 6th, there was an Awesome Assembly with the theme "Under the Sea," offering fun and entertainment for all. A relay race of two student teams and a teacher team started off the assembly. The teachers won, with the student team of grade 7,9 and 11s coming in second. Students enjoyed playing Splat, which had prize money for the winner. The lucky student that won this game was Linken Dubielew. We also acknowledged the student high honour roll and school wide citizenship.

Students also participated in a Winterfest that included a winter gear and food drive in exchange for a "Kandycane” (a candy cane with a picture of Mr Froehlick attached), and took part in Ugly Christmas Sweater Day where many students participated. The fun continued with Hallmark Day/Christmas Characters Day, where people dressed as their favorite holiday characters. On PJ Day, students came in their cozy pajamas and fuzzy slippers. 

The month also had a Christmas Banquet on the 12th, featuring beautifully dressed students and staff members and delicious food prepared by the Foods classes (special thank you to Mr Christainson and his students), and community volunteers. 

Please note, the Staff VS Student dodgeball game has been rescheduled for the New Year.
